One of Iceland’s best known ski areas, Mt. Hlidarfjall is situated on the north coast of the country next to Iceland’s second city – Akureyri.

Snow reliability is excellent, given it’s northerly latitude and long winter. The ski area offers a good variety of runs, plus access to two other ski resorts.  There are plenty of good hotels within 15 minutes of the ski area. With our ski trips to Iceland, you and your group will miss the crowds and experience a magical Nordic adventure! The unique landscape with its geysers, volcanoes and waterfalls will make this an unforgettable experience. The skiing is suitable for groups of all ages and abilities with the added thrill of being able to ski at night, sometimes lit up by the breath taking Northern Lights! e3 are delighted to add this exceptional destination to our wide-ranging ski programme.
